…learn something

Friday, July 28th, 2006

Ever experience by yourself when you’re so far away with your family and you really got homesick.
I have a friend from Netherland that just reached Jakarta few days ago. She will do internship here.
She told me when arrived at Jakarta, she just directly went to her boarding house - it is a new building with everything new inside. Then in that 3 x 6 m2 room, which was so quiet and you don’t have any direction where you should go, she just felt so homesick. Then I invited her to stay in my boarding house.. but of course if she would like too, becoz my room is not as big as her. But she was ok and beside that i also was so glad that she stays in my room. She is nice girl.

When i shared with her, she told me.. why she prefer my room, eventough it’s smaller than hers.. It is because when entered my room, she felt warm atmosphere, something that lively. Different with her room which even bigger but so cold, quiet and no life atmosphere.

I think this is same with us. Even our appearance is great, beautiful, handsome, but when we don’t have warm and friendly, lively spirit, then it is nothing. People around you can feel it. Maybe first time they will try to come over, but then they just stop it and make a distance with you.
… i learn something this week :)

who are we?

Do you feel the earthquake yesterday afternoon around 6 p.m. ? It happened twice! and each of it shake is quiet hardhar. At that moment i just reached my boarding house and have conversation with some friends. While talking, suddenly i felt like being shaked, at first my friends didn’t feel anything, but second one, we all walking outside. Thanks God, it didn’t happen too long.

At night all the TV Station report about this earthquake.. still hot in our mouth about Tsunami at Pangandaran and Cilacap, now this earthquake and what’s next?

This is something that remind me a lot.. who are you? who are we? Just a human that being given a chance to live in this world. How long we will live? no one ever know.. but one thing for sure… do the best while you live. If you said it’s too late.. i already move too far… i talk to you my friend, nothing is too late as long as we really want to change and do it faithful.

have a blessed day my friend…

A Time for Everything

Yesterday was my turn to do Worship Leader (WL) for ministry. I want to do my best, as I know the latest WL that have been done is not the best one that I could do. I decide to do better this time and I pray God please help me to do it best.

Thanks God, everything was going fine.. I got very nervous at first, my hand was so cold, and my heart beat faster haha.. (norak ya?) but yes, I must admit each time I do this part, I still get nervous. But when I know, the most important things is that I do my best, no matter what others people think, as long as we know we have done it best, then others will see it best too.

This morning when I spent little time to re-think about all of this, I realize, yes for everything there is a time. Sometimes it is time for us to learn from our loss, and next time we are the winner. While other time we need to learn, sacrifice our pleasure time then at other time also we enjoy the result of what we’ve done.

But most of us have no patient to wait until the time come to us. And hehe.. including me. In this instant century which all people want everything happened just in time after we clap our hand. What about you friends?

Ecclessiastes 3:1-3
1 There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under heaven:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

Life is fun yet mysterious

Life is fun yet mysterious..

When you want it, you will feel like waiting the sun to rise on west! (yeah.. it should be on east, then you could imagine.. how long it will take to rise on west? hehe.. maybe until we die.. still haven’t see it yet) but when you release it, and just doing your part, don’t expect too much but determined with what you’re doing, it suddenly pop up in front of your face. Such a funny yet mysterious things rite?

King Salomon wrote in Proverb, "Guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life". Yes, that’s true.. when we gurad our heart, we guard our mind and we guard also the way we look in to this life and what is precious in our life.

Psalm 1:2,3 said "Blessed is the man…whose delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

Thanks God, that the first word that come from me, when being informed that our DeepCuts website (yep.. me and my friend do our own design studio and it called DeepCuts Design Studio) was listed on NetDiver.net (it’s a website that devoted to tutoring, empowering and stimulating creativity as well as excellence in design projects by the international community involved in the design industry and beyond).

When I looked at others which were listed on that link, I felt a bit underdogs hehe.. they all are marvelous design! I learn that they are always higher sky on sky, so.. never stop and felt satisfied enough with what you achive. Be better and better by each day.. Chayo! Semangat!

Live life out loud

Yupe, that’s true!
You should live your life to the fullest. Why? because we live in this world only for short time. No one ever know when and where he or she will die. So.. never regret even a minute of your time. You should use it worthly! Never give up, for there is always a hope if you believe..
