just be yourself
This thought is tickling my mind. So many advertising nowadays campaign about the message "just to be yourself". In the contrary, so many of them, especially cosmetic products or food or clothes, just try to brainwash our mind and told us to be looks like the idol/the stars.
The truly is, everybody was born in their own uniqueness, so no need to be somebody else looks like. The best one is be ourself. Of course, in some case, we need to learn to be better from others. For example in attitude, way of thinking, character. But still, everything we learn from it, will integrade into our way of life and no one in this world has the same way of life.
It is the same when come to our faith. We no need to e somebody else just to show our faith. Everybody has his/her own story in walking this life with God. dont need also to looks great then we borrow another’s story to upgrade our level. we have our own time as they have theirs. Then… Sharing your faith meant just being yourself too.
so be happy and "just be yourself"
hv great weekend everybody

truly the world is teaching us what to do .. from head to heart and to toe. Thru’ rapid & effectiveness of tv advertisement, our mind somehow tuned to the concept of life that the tv commercial wants us to live. e.g. like all the love stories movies, whereby we men need to lavish women with expensive gifts, big house, air-conditioned 5-stars restaurants and more… even my niece at one time asked us to dine-out in air conditioned restaurant. the request is ok but the rational behind was she feel that having dinner at non air conditioner place is “no standard” .. wow !! such a thinking for a 6 year old girl.
recently, i heard on the local chinese radio station that made a comment that it’s a norm for men to look for a 2nd wife & the 2nd marriage will be permanent cos’ it is the true love…. crazy !!
my advice: have an inner beauty cos’ outer beauty will fade away one day.
sometimes, it’s good to share some faith story/events that is not of your own cos’ they may help to encourage others and one day .. your ownself. i recall a real life faith story from my auntie of how they acted upon their faith by giving when they have so little to give .. and over the years I saw how God bless them because of their faithfulness… they shared with me a few times & each time i just listened. I know that God could do great things but do i believe?
recently, i chose to believe … and you know what ?!! little by little i begin to experienced God’s mercy, grace & leading in my life.
Advice: be like the woman who touched the robe of Jesus …. believing Jesus can heal from what she heard from “other” people.
p/s. panjang-nya komen .. macam tulis blog …. hahaha …
